To have good books that give you the best information, you need to have all your transactions properly categorized. And have the transactions with tax considerations simple to find on your books. 

I work with you to create the categories that are most insightful for you. Do you want to see income broken up by different revenue streams? How detailed do you want your expenses categorized? And we can always adjust as needed!

I provide an unlimited number so you don't have to worry about only having X number of transactions in a particular month.

As you grow, if your transactions are consistently increasing by a large amount and taking more time to complete, then the monthly price will be evaluated to reflect that. But I will communicate any changes with plenty of advanced notice.

Monthly Bank Reconciliations are crucial to having accurate books. Think of it as an internal control step to ensure every transaction is being captured in your financials. 

I also reconcile each item on your Balance Sheet (which is the report that tells you what your company is worth at a point in time) to make sure you always have an accurate picture of your business' financial health.

Not only will I provide you will all your monthly financial reports, I will make sure you really understand them.

I will help you know how to answer questions like:

• What is my profit margin? Is it increasing?
• What is bringing in the most profit? What are my biggest expenses?
• Are there key performance indicators I could track to help me understand by business better?
• How much is my company worth?
• Where did my cash go?

I will also help you understand insightful trends to really see the story of your business and watch your progress and growth.

I know you are busy, so each month with your financials, I include a written quick summary when you just want the cliff notes version. And I include a short video recording of a walkthrough your reports for you to watch when it works for you. 

Reports will always be provided by the 15th of the following month.

When you work with me, I am on your team! That means I want you to feel comfortable reaching out when you have a question. 

I also use Voxer, which is great for leaving voice messages back and forth and has end-to-end encryption for security.

If a question requires me to do some deeper analysis or research in order to give you better advice, that will be communicated in advance and billed separately. 

No more stress at tax time! I will prepare the tax package for your tax preparer and can send it directly to them (and you).

In the new year, we will schedule a time to meet and go over a Financial Report Presentation about the previous 12 months, with helpful visual charts and information. It's a great opportunity to highlight your successes and think about possible goals for the next year.

I will pay for the cost of your accounting software subscription and receipt tracking software.

While I am happy to work with QuickBooks Online or Xero, I personally prefer Xero for several reasons. But we can figure out together which software best meets your needs. If we decide Xero is a good fit, I will migrate you for free!

While I provide a brief training on how to use the receipt tracking software and keep good records, on the Basic level of my services you will be fully responsible for making sure you have receipts saved and organized somewhere.

Documentation is everything for audit proofing your books. I recommend that you keep receipts for everything.

Because it is so important, I include receipt tracking software and training on how to use it in every package.

My added audit proofing services means I will make sure you have a receipt attached to everything. When something is missing a receipt, I will let you know so you can find it, and then we can attach it to your records. You can feel confident that I support you in every way I can for you to have good documentation.

If you pay rent, attorneys, contractors or other service providers in your business, you may have to issue 1099s. In the Elevated and Elite Services, the 1099 Filings are included in your package. We will also make sure to remind you of LLC filings with your Secretary of State.

In the Basic Package, I will let you know what 1099 you need to issue. I can then complete the 1099 Filings for you for an additional cost.

Let's set a time together each year to complete a budgeting and financial goals session. This will be a great time to really dive into your vision for your business and how I can support you to get there. 

I will prepare an annual budget and monthly budgets as a result of the meeting, and your monthly reports will include comparisons of your actual to budget. 

We can adjust your budget as needed in our quarterly financial check-ins.

I can also provide support for if you implement a cash flow methodology of allocating cash received between different accounts for expenses, taxes, profit, owners draw, etc.

Let's meet together! With Elevated services, we will meet over Zoom Quarterly. And we will meet monthly for Elite Services. 

These meetings can be used to go over your reports, answer questions you have, and I can gently hold you accountable to your goals. We can also use this time towards research of an ad hoc (extra) analysis you need done. We can cater this to what you need to feel supported towards your business success.

If you sell physical products or are required to collect sales tax on your services or digital products, I will assist you in your sales tax filings and monitoring nexus. (Nexus is having a physical presence in a state or reaching an "economic threshold" that then requires you to collect sales tax for that state).

Whenever possible, I will assist you in the set up of TaxJar to help with auto-filings. You will be responsible for paying the TaxJar Subscription.

If you require an initial Sales Tax Nexus Study, that will be a separate additional cost.

The maintenance of your bank feeds and matching & recording transactions will happen at least bi-weekly instead of monthly. You will be able to login to your accounting software and see more recent data on your dashboard versus monthly recordkeeping.

Having trouble being prepared for expenses coming up? Or wanting to know what cash is going to look like for making an investment? A cash flow forecast might help you have a better picture for making decisions. We will work together on our monthly calls to have Cash Flow Forecast for the next 12 months, updated every quarter. 

I love to provide income tax services as an add-on to current bookkeeping/advisory clients. Why? Because I know your books are clean and ready to go and I already intimately know your business. 

If you are not an active bookkeeping client, there may be an additional charge if your books are messy to get them in order.

If you already have a great bookkeeper - I am happy to provide just the tax side of your needs. I love clean books and supporting other accountants!

My Income Tax Services include quarterly estimated payment calculations. We always have a debrief after filed where we discuss possible tax strategies to implement for the following year, as well as monitoring and discussions for the best time to elect an S-corp status. 

Cost can be paid at once, or spread out and included in the monthly fee.
